Natural resins such as bitumen, rosin, amber, and shellac were already being used before the 19th century and the first synthetic plastic – phenolic plastic – appeared in 1909. 1920 saw the birth of another synthetic plastic – amino plastic (aniline formaldehyde plastic). The Foam Plastics Horizontal and Vertical Flammability Tester is one of the instruments we would like to introduce to you in this case. The horizontal and vertical flammability tester/plastic flammability tester is mainly used to determine the flammability of plastics, rubber, or film under a defined fire source in order to determine its fire resistance class.
