ASTM D4151 Standard provides a means to identify blanket fabrics which ignite easily and propagate flame across the surface.
This test method specifies the procedures described in the \\\"Voluntary Blanket Flammability Standard\\\" which has been used by the blanket industry in the United States since 1972.

Product Details of the the Blanket Flammability Tester
The Blanket Flammability Tester is used for detecting the flame retardant performance of the bed blanket fabric and the flame spread property of the fabric surface. The test method is to burn the surface of the sample with a standardized flame within a prescribed time, thereby burning and destroying the standard test paper. The extent or discoloration was observed and the test fabric was graded.
